• used ordering devices like numbers or bullet points
• used a variety of linking and sequence words e.g., first, next, after, then, before, when
Used direct/explicit language to guide the reader e.g. Hold flax tightly between thumb and forefingers, with thumbs facing towards body.
• used sectioning or paragraphing where it suits the writing
• written sentences correctly i.e., caps, full stops, question mark, exclamation

1. Grab your toothbrush.
2. Put the toothpaste on your toothbrush.
3. After that put your toothbrush under the water.
4. Then put your brush in your mouth make sure you get at the back of your mouth.
5. Then spit into the sink and brush again.
6. Continue to do that for four minutes.
7. After that put everything away.
8. Now you have finished.

Brushing your teeth

1. Grab your toothbrush.
2. Put the 2cm of toothpaste on the bristle end of your toothbrush.
3. After that put your toothbrush under the water for 5 seconds.
4. Then put your the bristle end in your mouth for 2 minutes make sure you get all around your mouth.
5. Then spit into the sink and start brush again for 2 minutes make sure you get all around your mouth.
7. After that turn the tap off.
8. Clean your face with the towel.
9. Next put everything away.
10. Now you are finished.
